1964 Canada 10 Cents

Did you know
For decades Canada's official papers called the ship only a fishing schooner. In 2002 the Mint finally named it Bluenose.
What's on it
A two-masted sailing ship, called a schooner, leaning into the wind with every sail up. The other side shows the king or queen of the day.
When it was made
Emanuel Hahn's design began in 1937. Bluenose was a real Nova Scotia ship, launched 1921, that fished cod and won races. Silver ended in 1968.
