Melt is the floor: what the metal alone is worth today. A coin's collector value can be higher (date, mint mark, condition). It is rarely lower.
The melt figures below are what the silver itself is worth at spot, not a price we're offering to pay. A dealer buying junk silver pays under melt on purpose. That's their margin, not a scam.
